Some web developers build websites and then hand them off to the customer to fend for themselves. Find a web host, add SSL, add a CDN (if you are lucky), ensure you have daily backups, buy all the licenses, security onsite and server and much more. This is when Admin access is provided. All the risk is then with you.
Our model isn’t that. We only manage what we build, so we can tightly control the integrity of the website mechanics and the server infrastructure they reside in.
We include all this in our service without the risk.
All our plans aim to ensure that no one needs to know how to code, tinker with or manage the mechanics – but to concentrate on their business and add content. This is also reflected in the price of the plans we offer.
This has allowed us to create a development and payment model where we handle the infrastructure, security, maintenance, support, licensing, backup, training, speed and more.
We don’t provide Admin access for our clients as it’s not the model we run with and to be able to offer better website integrity. We prefer to play offence with a more proactive attitude vs defensive, where we must react to a situation.
You only need Editor access to add/edit content, change design elements, build web forms, and much more.
Times you might need more than what Editor access allows:
- Adding a plugin (see below why this can seriously affect your website below)
- Facebook Pixel
- Facebook Domain Verification
- Google Tag Manager
- Google Console (we’ve already done this for you)
- Google Analytics (we’ve already done this for you)
- Third-party service script added to the site (We do this for you)
We do not charge for doing Admin work; if it’s reasonable and doesn’t affect the integrity/security of the website.
